The weeks seem to be passing faster as we get towards the end of the year, although maybe it just seems that way through the haze of the lockdown paradise in which this author is currently stuck. I've decided since so many of you liked the last one we'd open with another sub-standard poem - here it is.

Seller Central pain,
Wasting hours of your days,

Shipping cost hikes on their way

Much like the queue of container ships waiting to get in to California's ports, further increases to shipping costs are likely just over the horizon. As many as 65 ships (as of 22nd September) are waiting for a berth to become available.

Obviously the corona v has had a huge hand in this, but it's reported there's also been a massive increase in shipping volume to the US. The backlog isn't expected to clear any time soon - possibly not this year - so it's likely that if you're bringing goods in to the west coast then you're going to be looking at big price increases and long delays.

Extended returns window

That time for people to be able to return early Christmas gifts after using them for 3 months is nearly upon us!

The Amazon Extended Holiday Returns Policy for 2021 requires that most of the items purchased between October 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021, be eligible for return through January 31, 2022. This is an annual, temporary extension of the standard return window.

Although the return window for most orders is extended, return eligibility for all orders remain the same. You can see return eligibility for each category on our Returns Help page.

Power up your payments with PingPong's proprietary portal

A few weeks ago I promised you offers and suggestions that would be useful for anyone taking the time to read this (which I really appreciate!) and this is possibly the best example of me keeping my word so far.
